Taking advantage of hardworking employees

Pros

Working with children is rewarding and fun. The pay is great for virtually no education or experience. There is always something new to learn, and room to improve yourself.

Cons

Management and HR do not care about employees. You will not be compensated for all of the work you do. We all take work home. Mandatory unpaid time off during school breaks. At times I have been over child to teacher ratio, which is illegal and stressful because the teacher is liable for what happens to students.

Management has no training. One manager told me the people working for her were too stupid. That's why she couldn't get anything done.

Pros

The overall message of "I am responsible for myself," and "Live life with integrity," are awesome lessons for our youth. It was fun teaching kids who were there to learn.

Cons

Management sometimes forget about the part timers since we aren't there all the time. I didn't really mind this so much, but others might.
