Pros

Great people in mid level and below, some good perks pre-covid, great benefits. Unlimited vacation.

Cons

Leadership can’t seem to get on the same page with direction of the company. There are changes implemented constantly with at times impossible or nearly impossible timelines. It is a real shame because the feedback exists to combat this, but is rarely listened to. Above all, morale is low, which means turnover is high. Not only are there a lot of moving parts but also a consistent stream of new hires who need to get up to speed while the goal posts are consistently being moved.

Pros

-Free Mattress -Everything is digital -Peer Group is some of the best in the business -Laptop provided -snacks -cool store design

Cons

-Upper Management has no clue what they are doing. They communicate wrong information about EVERYTHING and then expect changes to be made instantly. They retaliate against employees and utilize the so called “People Team” to eliminate positions -Too much busy work that is tedious and repetitive -The HR department has no clue what they are doing and have no concept of what the word “humane” even means. -Products are not what they say they are and are poorly made. -Upper management does not clearly communicate logistical issues and expect retail fleet to lie to its consumers and then clean up the mess when the truth comes out -Sales Targets are unrealistic in a COVID-19 world -Corporate is so far disconnected from what actual retail experiences which creates such big gaps in the execution of strategy. -They preach Omni Channel but every part of the company, E-commerce, Wholesale and Retail, don’t communicate which leaves the consumer confused. I mean have you ever hear of a brand not carrying all their products in their own stores? - Corporate gets Unlimited PTO, while Retail doesn’t even get sick time for getting COVID, which is crazy because without the front line workers writing orders, these corporate retail employees wouldnt have a job. -Upper Management and Corporate employees never hold their own accountability. They pin everything on their retail employees -No work life balance The list goes on and on. Every single thing in this company is broken, from management all the way to the systems they use on a daily basis. In my two years of employment I never had one day where something didn’t go wrong. Stay away from this company as you go in looking alive and healthy and come out looking like a corpse.

Pros

Benefits are nice (different for each person in a department), management can vary (personalities -- duh!), meals, seamless credit, cool people, fast changes which can be good for the experience overall.

Cons

Their benefits seem reasonable upon being hired and they promise you land, but you only really get an apartment when you actually work there. One thing that was more annoying daily was their frequent HR policy changes. States "unlimited PTO and sick days," but when people started taking advantage of it, they decreased it to an average # of days. They promise a lot to their staff but managers choose who they like more before you get noticed. The CX department is straight high school with principals, and the leads are like deans. Overall, Casper department asks you to come to them for issues, but they do not listen to you & the pay is trash - sorry.
