      Pros

      Education benefits, core contingent of professionals who are hanging on for the pension. Acquisitions were good choices, although the integration of these companies was horribly managed.

      Cons

      Poor leadership, lack of empowerment, lack of investment in business outside of acquired companies. Carrier has to buy its way into markets with more innovative, faster moving companies and then bogs them down, or "Carrier-izes" them. As an employee you feel like you're supposed to operate as a paranoid, underpaid robot while watching customers get infuriated and flee en masse.

      Pros

      More challenging in work but you will growth stronger .SEA president is good and nice.

      Cons

      Management do not monitor the performance of each product group performance and dilute the strength/focus of the products. Legacy GE security with less than 10 head counts had delivered the same sales target compare to current capacity . Synergy and transformation approach divert the attention of appropriate business model.

      Pros

      Carrier has many platforms of opportunity that can advance your career along with company paid continuing education. There are divisions and plants throughout the United States to go for these opportunites if you wish to relocate.

      Cons

      As in all large corporations, there is bureaucracy and cultures within the groups and divisions and if you are on the outside of those cliques, you will be stuck. Once you are "labelled" it can feel like you have lost control of your career path.
