Pros

It was exciting at first working somewhere like this, wondering if camera crews would come or something. We were always busy, always a line so we were never bored.

Cons

We had to lie about how the food tasted because we weren't paid enough to afford it and weren't allowed to sample. No work life balance, they would keep you there hours later than promised at closing sometimes. Upper management very disrespectful and uncaring. Very low pay for what is expected of you. Poor organization makes the place run much slower than it could if any planning went into anything. No break area (unless you want to count the box outside the bathroom that people sit on) No hot water on the front end area. Rarely soap in the soap dispensers.

Pros

The other bakery staff, in general, are nice to work with. The front counter staff are hard working

Cons

The management not listening to employee concerns about other employees slacking off, open pretty much 24/7 -never closed for holidays, poor compensation. No room for advancement

Pros

Coworkers and bakers are cool, and sometimes ... if your supervisor is nice, you can get leftover pastries at the end of your shift. (Closing shift)

Cons

Everything else. The pay is horrible for everything you have to do. You literally work so hard for nothing. The management is horrible as well as the supervisors who don't do anything but sit around on their phones all day, but get mad if you do one little thing wrong. You're not allowed to talk, and it's just not a fun environment (as it should be) Also, there's no room for growth. Everything is frozen and shipped to all locations. So you don't really get to learn how to make anything.
