Pros

I can't think of one.

Cons

Too many to list. Your a number. Forget moving up. The worst management and pay is terrible. Insurance is expensive and still have to pay alot at Dr. No appreciation. No acknowledgement. They don't care about you at all. It's all about numbers.

Pros

Good benefits, great work enviroment

Cons

they cut pay plan in half for "online leads" which is 85% of the business. They didn't give us anything in writing, just told us, and then decided to activate the "new pay plan" 2 weeks before schedule. If you're used to regular car sales commission pay structure, this won't be a good fit for you.

We hire good people. There are a lot of good people that work at all of the CarMaxs I have visited.

Cons

Too much coaching. CarMax believes that Sales consultants need to change the way they sell to suit CarMax.
