Pros

Unrivaled career development. Work Ethic pays off I am truly blessed to work for CarMax. Exceptional pay and I look forward to my long career at CarMax

Cons

Retail hours. But that is what I signed up for so I can't complain. Not too much to complain about really. Not sure what anyone who is unhappy is talking about.

Pros

Offer good sales training, decent benefits, almost a reasonable job if you only do it part time.

Cons

Long hours, few weekends off, low pay for the industry, extreme micro managing.

Pros

Other department staff is usually nice. Good pay and benefits if you get into the right area. Very nice facilities to work in for the most part.

Cons

Poor follow up on training by some mentors. Unclear expectations overall when management changes. Race and sex play a huge part in disciplinary action. If you aren't a car guy/gal you won't make it if you succeed regardless of how hard you try or improve.
