Pros

Steady flow of work, decent benefits, new shop and equipment

Cons

Management at the shop and corporate level is not good. Definitely a good ol' boys club. If you are friends with management, you get better treatment, more work, better jobs and are not held accountable for poor performance. Promises for pay increases never materialize. Shops are overstaffed so each technician is making less money, but as long as the shop hits budget, no one cares. You really are just a number at caliber. They only care about profits. The whole "caliber cares" and talk of being a family and taking care of employees is a joke. Morale is at an all time low. They think that having a shop lunch occasionally will make everyone happy. At least half of the employees in the shop are considering leaving. Only problem is that caliber has a monopoly on body shops so there isn't many other companies to work for. The deals they make with insurance companies take money of our the technicians pockets. Market leadership is mostly missing in action, and when you do go to them with concerns, they are brushed under the rug, or you are told "we are working on it" for months....very disappointed with how caliber turned out.

Pros

Pay once you get above a certain level, but if you don't know someone who is someone for the company ahead of time you'll never get ahead.

Cons

Management is some of the most tyrannical and condescending people you'll ever meet. They will go out of their way to punish those who don't have seniority for out preforming the 'seasoned' employees. Caliber Collision is a glorified high school with constant gossip and absolute disgusting behavior from those who claw their way into their positions.

Pros

Very Fast paced but overall great working environment, benefits on the first day with fair pay especially if you have experience in the automotive industry.

Cons

Almost impossible to move up. They’ll provide you with the necessary tools to learn and do training but if they don’t want you in the position you want to be in then you won’t get there, no matter how qualified you are or how many hours you spent doing training courses in workday. Also seen multiple people being promoted and moved around to position they didn’t want or weren’t qualified for because it was more convenient for the “team” at that moment.
