Management does not listen to direct reports nor value front line input; HUGE lack of training; Will hire people new to a position or just new to the organization and supply no training;

Structured. Good intentions. Potential for happy employees.

Cons

Underpaid for required hours and responsibilities. Not a respected position. Growth of company and profits, while extremely important, feel to be far more important than turnover and establishing buy in from employees. A platform for employee feedback could make a difference.

Pros

If you are in a shop with good people you tend to all work together and have a good time. Important when you have to spend 50 hrs a week with them.

Cons

Middle Management is worthless and just dumps their work on you. Plus if you don't meet your monthly sales goals (which they will raise on you and won't tell you why) you get to work weekends to try and meet them.
