Where to start. Abysmal PTO accrual that you can't really use because nothing is approved. Having to find coverage for yourself or someone to switch shifts with you if you're sick, even thought they have an "on call" provider scheduled. For the amount of roles you fulfill, office manager, receptionist, LVN, quality control, mail room, lab tech, sanitation staff, and provider your pay does not reflect that. You get an LVN as support staff sometimes but it's not built into the schedule to have one every day of the week with a provider but you're expected to see the same amount of patients. Manager is non existent during times of need and ignores calls, emails, texts messages, so that's fun. Harassment and abuse by patients is ignored completely. There is almost zero opportunity for professional growth. The "on call" shifts that you have to be available for twice a scheduling cycle for two hours you get paid a whopping $10 for essentially reserving your entire day. They will usually call you in and want you to schedule one on a weekend day even though you already work every other weekend.
You better check your paycheck because they can and will leave of hours you've worked and expect you to wait until the next pay cycle to correct it. The health benefits are shamefully poor especially for a company partnered with Aetna and providing healthcare.
When I first started working for MC it had problems but I never felt like a number with a license. Over the last 18 months it has gone down hill fast and in a hurry. I'm sickened at how they treat their providers and staff with so little respect.
