Pros

- Don't have to work 9-5 M-F

Cons

- Management is TERRIBLE, they will flat out lie about various things and don't have employees' best interests as heart, it's all about the $$$ - Had a mandatory staff meeting (at 6pm on a Sunday night) and were told that we weren't allowed to ask any questions for the duration of the meeting - New grads get 2 weeks of orientation and then you're totally on your own - You are responsible for EVERYTHING (checking people in, running insurance, vitals, H&P, collecting payment, cleaning the clinic, taking out the trash, ordering supplies, running controls, etc). You will often be yelled at for various things (people not bringing their insurance cards, too long of a wait, not taking people after closing, etc.)

Pros

There is nothing good about working for this company

Cons

Cvs treats their employees terribly. They take advantage of you, lie about job requirements to get you to fill the position, then try to push you out when you stand up for your rights. Store managers are treated the worst. Theyre expected to work upwards of 60 hours weekly, take in overnight truck deliveries by themselves, and act as a cashier on a regular basis. The hourly budget was low when I started this job almost a year ago but they've lowered it even more, so despite the fact that my store has seen a continuous sales increase we have fewer people on the sales floor. This makes it almost impossible to complete regular tasks. They want us to drive sales and customer service, and cut back on shrink, but there's no way to accomplish this without more cashier's available to actually help customers. This company is going down the drain since they bought aetna, I'm expecting that the retail aspect of the business will be completely expunged or cut back drastically in the near future. If you're considering a job with this company, don't do it, it's not worth it.
