Hard to get internal promotion unless you are already salaried. Unqualified salaried personnel can get interviews for other salaried positions when qualified hourly candidates who have been recognized for outstanding contribution to the company are sent "no thanks - we've chosen a better qualified candidate" email when they have NO current candidates and the role desperately needs filled. No consistency on HR policy (some employees charged 10 hours of vacation time during mandatory overtime and others are charged only 8). Hourly employees not paid for time traveled between buildings which is in violation of Federal law (Portal-to-Portal Act). Company preaches valuing employees who contribute and try to make a difference.... definitely not the case if you are not salaried personnel with a Bachelor's degree - even if you've been a highly recognized salaried employee at prior companies.

Where do I begin........My Team Leader does not acknowledge my existence. My Team ignores me. I started out being taught various Incidents and how to handle them, now, I just take Orders. My Team Leader nor my Team has any desire to instruct me. In fact, my Team Leader has significantly decreased my work in my Activity Logs and also has decreased overtime hours; I am no longer required to come in at the End of the Month, our busiest time of the month? I have spoken to her about the issues, as well as Senior management, and my Recruiter. To no avail, no one wants to listen or do ANYTHING to rectify the issue. I know several retirees and other former Contractors that had the same issues, in office and manufacturing. I am saddened that my excitement to work for this company has waned. A person can only take so much UNPRFESSINAL behavior in the workplace. It has become extremely toxic and unhealthy. But, despite all of this, I refuse to let it interfere with my actual duties, because I actually love what I am doing and want to learn more. The people that I am exposed could not be more unfriendly, rude, and sometimes crude. THINK TWICE!!!!!
