Pros

You meet new people, that being said the managerial people that come in to “observe” absolutely SUCK. Leadership is HORRIFIC. A JOKE.

Cons

Leadership doesn’t care about understaffing, doesn’t care about our hours being cut, doesn’t care about KEEPING MEMBERS, what they do care about —— sales. Bunch of scammers trying to get us to scam old folk, young folk, anyone with a credit card to get this dingy service. At smaller airports it’s like being stuck in the trenches the way we have to merge in with precheck and general boarding lanes. We should have OUR OWN LANE. I shouldn’t have to be yelled at by people in precheck just for doing my job. We need our own officers. But let me ask my management for a break from being yelled at by the general public and I’m the problem :) a person can only take so much. It’s embarrassing how sellers are prioritized but the ACTUAL AMBASSADORS THAT ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR RETENTION OF THAT MEMBERSHIP ARE OVERLOOKED. SHAME ON MANAGEMENT. SHAME ON YALL FOR NOT GIVING YOUR AMBASSADORS BREAKS FROM THE CONSTANT CHAOS THAT IS PRECHECK C&C/TDC or STANDARD c&C/TDC. SHAME.

Pros

Free lunches, friendly coworkers, easy promotions if you play the game, and some positive changes to equity distribution.

Cons

This is particular to marketing. If you're interested in joining clear marketing, in your interviews I'd ask about turnover. See what they say. Because turnover in marketing is unreal. Good people leave, quickly. Other people get fired or laid off. In my time, there has been maybe 80% turnover. Most of those who are still around are searching for work. Some issues you may encounter: - Top heavy to the point that you may have 2-3 people above you giving you different directions. - Uninspired marketing. Everything is designed to please the CEO, so gets boiled down to a flavorless mush. - Poor leadership at the top. Everyone kowtows to the CEO so there is a TON of wasted work because "leadership" is too petrified to lead. What's the point of hiring good people when nobody trusts them. - Some of the few who last, are the ones who are good at operating in an unhealthy environment and seem to only care about promotion.

Pros

Commission is decent if you’re able to get out the lane to make some, most of the employees are decent people, benefits are pretty good for the job

Cons

The customers are evil and awful, some employees are very clique-y and bully each other and act very unprofessionally, not unionized so corporate drags you through the mud, managers have zero communication with each other, employees treat workers from other companies in airport badly, the base pay rate is awful for the amount of work we do, you’re selling an iffy product to the general public, it’s pointless to try to want to rise in the company because the compensation is hardly any better than the pay made by ambassadors,
