      Pros

      There are great people at this company who will not only be good coworkers but eventually make good friends. the projects they get are award winning and interesting - the scale is huge. There is a vast network of engineers at your disposal.

      Cons

      The company does not invest in it's employees - don't expect any engineer to have time to give you on-the-job training even (because the corporate budget doesn't give them the time). Management is making policy changes that is eroding the company culture. Benefits are horrible compared to both small and large firms in the industry. Hope your manager is good at getting work for your office - because if he isn't, you'll spend a lot of time twiddling your thumbs and using your Paid Time Off to cover time without a project (yes, the company makes you use your vacation time to "float" between jobs). Corporate is currently replacing employees with expat workers from Poland as they are cheaper.

      Pros

      Very enthusiastic employee base and an active diversity mix. Definitely unique and embracing efforts to engage all aspects of the employee diversity. Company is really good about standing up to their project commitments. Corporation has a very generous separation package for employees laid off. Employee owned a bonus. Smart people in their employ.

      Cons

      Management does not appear to understand the business groups they have engaged through their acquisitions. Their interference in the operations of their Energy and Oil & Gas Sectors has cost the company financial losses. Off shoring of services and employment is bad for the US and very shortsighted simply for a company stock bump. If the corporation were run smarter it might not need to go off shore.
