Overall the company is filled with friendly people. Each group allows a different amount of flexibility regarding your work schedule.

Cons

Little to no training. Inexperienced management in some segments.

Cons

Some middle and upper management promoted beyond skill level Company culture moved from people centered to profit centered Former CEO mismanaged the firm Current CEO seems to be in over her head and doesn't know what to do, hence the multiple reorganizations during her short time in charge Reorganizations every 12-24 months for past decade Lack of clear communication Asking overloaded employees to take on additional work after re-orgs and layoffs Employee bonus/reward/evaluation system is broke

Pros

Co-workers and some managers, 9-5 schedule.

Cons

CH2M upper management cares more about getting new business, then trying to fix a broken system. Can't pay vendors in time, AP process so complicated. Management has the my way or no way attitude. DOES not value employee feed back! Shared services is a joke, your direct manager has no clue how you do your job they are in a different department. Wonder how that affects your review each year. Yearly reviews are not done by deadline ever, months later.

The Client-centric Operating Model addresses all of the issues that may have drained your time and energy, and we’re already starting to see signs that it’s working! Additionally, we’ve created two roles – Manager of Projects and Managers of Talent – to make sure that we manage our projects with rigor and bring out the best in our people and help them grow their careers, including having regular conversations about performance. We hope you’ll consider returning to CH2M one day.
