      Pros

      Benefits are great, people are nice, prestigious global news organization, opportunities to grow, stable and developing a unique voice in a crowded news industry.

      Cons

      Management is pretty clueless editorially. Upper management is so disinterested and disconnected from employees that morale is lousy, people feel unappreciated, there's no team-building and most of the newsroom would quit today if a better opportunity arose elsewhere. It's hard to care when you don't feel cared about.

      friendly associates at lower level, many Directors are full of ego and obnoxious

      Cons

      Senior managers..Chinese managers do not have not a clue and how to manage in an American environment and have hired people poorly to fill the ranks. I hated my Director, all she did was bad mouth the managers who hired her as well as the people above and below her. RUN as fast as you can
