Benefits and salary are good for senior leadership.

Cons

*Commercial heads refuse to enforce any compliance requirements that will cause financial cost to the business and challenge all who communicate compliance risk. *They often make people redundant in departments which are struggling already. *In a year there I saw 4 different senior staff brought to tears by the directors and above due to relentless bullying and abuse. *You will often have 6+ hours of meetings in a 12 hour work day which is the norm. *The highest staff turnover I have ever witnessed in head office. *They will invest heavily in lawyers and consultancy to deny workers right violations despite constant ongoing tribunals and grievances.

My manager was barely around to support me and each day I was pretty much left to my own devices. It was clear they had zero management experience. I felt very isolated as nobody in the office made much effort to introduce themselves or say hello when I was new. Colleagues were very unprofessional - lots of foul language and poor behaviour in an office environment. The way employees were treated during the height of the pandemic was terrible, put on a conference call to be told I was going to be put on furlough. For the entire time I was on furlough (4 months), nobody got in touch with me to check on me or provide any updates. I was repeatedly paid incorrectly during this period and the Payroll team took a long time to accept their error.
