My manager was barely around to support me and each day I was pretty much left to my own devices. It was clear they had zero management experience. I felt very isolated as nobody in the office made much effort to introduce themselves or say hello when I was new. Colleagues were very unprofessional - lots of foul language and poor behaviour in an office environment. The way employees were treated during the height of the pandemic was terrible, put on a conference call to be told I was going to be put on furlough. For the entire time I was on furlough (4 months), nobody got in touch with me to check on me or provide any updates. I was repeatedly paid incorrectly during this period and the Payroll team took a long time to accept their error.
