Pros

Dynamic business Compensation package is fine

Cons

No career-prospect. Once they have parachuted your Japanese Manager your progression is over whatever your qualities are. Static decision-making process - Japanese style: through Japan and 25 meetings a day with silent Japanese you do not know. HR not competent - limited to compensation and benefits administration. Complete communication disconnect between upper management and employees. Japanese do not learn from their mistakes in that field and persersevere in their mistake of considering the world as Japan, Lots of unskilled managers because promoted through relocation from Japan. Terrible office location: in an old hole outside Brussels.
