Pros

For the most part amazing culture and workforce. Young professionals that have a good time but work incredibly hard; a lot of exceptional talent. Great atmosphere that lends itself to collaboration and teamwork. Open space, not even execs have offices. For the most part the management team really cares about the employees and treats them with respect. They work hard to make sure employees are engaged and supported. I've never worked for a company that cares so much about employee engagement and finding fun and new ways keep employees involved. It definitely makes working long hours more enjoyable.

Cons

The company is growing exponentially and sometimes you find yourself doing the work of 5 people. The hours are much longer than a typical 9-5 and sometimes it's difficult to find a work life balance. There are a couple VP's/Executives that treat employees in a condescending manner and can be down right rude, but in this case a few bad apples doesn't ruin the bunch.

Pros

Great office culture with a very flat hierarchy. Employees down to the junior level feel empowered to make decisions and are super passionate about the company product and mission. Feel very good about the leadership, they are calm even in moments of chaos. Colleagues are smart, nice and fun to hang out with at and outside of work. Great atmosphere and interesting projects to work on.

Cons

Work life balance can vary by department, but the company is working on improving this. Unstructured environment which can be a negative for some.

We strongly believe in our mission to make incredible home cooking accessible to everyone, and look to hire employees who truly take that to heart. As we hire more, we aim to improve work-life balance across departments. Thanks again for taking the time to give us your feedback!
