Pros

The company is full of hard-working and motivated employees who are truly passionate about what they do. My coworkers all have such interesting and diverse backgrounds and really believe in Blue Apron's mission to help promote sustainable farming practices and also help home cooks grow their skills. People here are genuine and friendly and there is a lot of participation in team-wide events (like our camping trip this fall). Hands down the best company I've ever worked for!

Cons

We don't have a 401k in place yet but I know they are working towards that so it should be happening soon!

Pros

The work that you do at Blue Apron has an immediate impact. You are constantly challenged to solve a problem, create a process, and/or find a resource in a way that allows you to not only exercise your own sovereignty in the workplace but also tap into your own creativity. When something works, you get immediate recognition; when it doesn't you are given the opportunity to find a better path.

Cons

The work comes fast and quick, and sometimes a late night or a weekend of work is required to finish a project. I've worked long hours on a number of occasions, but the work is always recognized by my supervisor and the leadership.

- Collaborative and team-oriented work environment - Wide accessibility of management - Super sharp employees throughout all departments that contribute to my own skills and knowledge - Great energy; everyone seems to enjoy what they are doing on a daily basis - Clear message of mission and vision from the top down; working for a company that has a positive impact makes my work more meaningful

Cons

- Very challenging; you need to have confidence in your experience and abilities to fully appreciate and contribute to each team and the company as a whole - Employee benefits could be improved to include a 401K
