Pros

Work remotely after in person training Discounted blue apron meals made groceries and meals very affordable Trainer Ben was really a great guy.

Cons

They really didn’t seem to care about their employees. By the time we got out of training and into production almost half of our training group had quit. Our paychecks were consistently late due to problems with payroll due to errors from HR and HR really didn’t seem to care and was disingenuous. Gave us an “oopsie but these things happen” response despite it causing most of us to become late on rent and bills. We were the first group to be trained at that office in person, and the rules that were in place almost set us up to fail. You accrue half a point for being even a minute late, and their office was located downtown and required you to go through their garage, security etc. 9/10 times there would be lines to get into the garage where people’s badges to scan in didn’t work, and it caused us to be late. Technically scanning into the office and not clocking in was what determined you to be late or not, but on TWO occasions I was pulled into the office to be either warned or even let go and I asked to see my scan in times only to be told “oh actually it looks like you only have x amount of points you’re okay” It stressed everyone out to no end. Working remotely was fine but at one point my power kept going out as my apartment complex was doing renovations and kept tripping the breaker. I explained this and offered to leave and go somewhere else but was told to stay. I was then fired because I “could not prove my power was going out” even though I offered to get copies of my usage times from the city of Austin that would have showed the time and frequency of the outages. It seemed like the people who were running things were completely unaware of how things in Austin worked and their policies were made for a different city or for remote work only, not updated after switching to work in person.

Pros

The entry level associates are down to earth and make the time fun. The pay was okay.

Cons

The Corporate team (founders included) and upper management were very unprofessional, rude, overly aggressive, and racist at times. I've witness GMs and AGMs intoxicated and belligerent in the middle of the day on site.

Pros

They are SUPER generous with their employees in terms of vacation, general perks.

Cons

It still has a "start-up" mentality even thought it's 7 years old. Most of the managers are barely out of their 20s and lack basic experience. There is an imbalance, very little support staff.
