Pros

For the most part amazing culture and workforce. Young professionals that have a good time but work incredibly hard; a lot of exceptional talent. Great atmosphere that lends itself to collaboration and teamwork. Open space, not even execs have offices. For the most part the management team really cares about the employees and treats them with respect. They work hard to make sure employees are engaged and supported. I've never worked for a company that cares so much about employee engagement and finding fun and new ways keep employees involved. It definitely makes working long hours more enjoyable.

Cons

The company is growing exponentially and sometimes you find yourself doing the work of 5 people. The hours are much longer than a typical 9-5 and sometimes it's difficult to find a work life balance. There are a couple VP's/Executives that treat employees in a condescending manner and can be down right rude, but in this case a few bad apples doesn't ruin the bunch.

Pros

It's a good idea but can be enhanced

Cons

Bueractatic Alternative to cooking ( BA) ohh that's Blue Apron. Basically all Yahoo, FaceBook and Apple rejects can find work in the managerial positions here. Ghetto place to work. Good luck finding the motivation to stay the course here if your offered a service trade position here. Being an associates (not a spare part Temp worker) for a year is a milestone accomplishment. Good job to keep you from being Just Over Broke Sometimes. Dont make any longtime or major life investments on this place unless you run a few folks right in the bed amid other "favors" to be considered an "Team Associate"

Pros

The culture of Blue Apron is undeniably great. I love coming into work every morning because of the palpable passion that emanates from my co-workers. Even if you're not a major foodie, everyone here feels strongly about our product, and the impact we are having on our customers. People here are smart, driven, and go above and beyond to get the job done. I love our product- not only do I use our service myself, but knowing that our customers get so much joy and satisfaction from cooking with us really makes coming to work that much better. I love the education and lifelong learning piece of Blue Apron, and I think this is what truly sets us apart from any other company of our kind. The potential for growth within the company is definitely there, as long as you are willing to put in the time and effort to do so. Nothing here will be handed to you on a silver platter, and working hard is a requirement.

Cons

The speed at which we are growing could potentially be looked at as a con, but as long as the company as a whole is keeping tabs and ensuring that we can keep up with our growth, I don't see it as a problem. I think we could be taking better care of our employees in terms of salary, benefits, and 401k. Improvement in this area will only make employees happier and more committed to the company.
