Pros
Very, very grateful to Biogen, George Scangos, Tony Kingsley, Doug Williams, John Cox, and Paul Clancy for some truly awesome years of learning and growth. Those executives were among the best in Fortune 500.
Cons
An absolutely amazing company rotted from the inside in a matter of two years. What's left is a rotting carcass. Exodus of incredible talent, some from layoffs, others voluntarily. CEO has no idea what he is doing. 6 months behind closed doors with McKinsey talking about god knows what, in the meantime hemorrhaging the last remnants of top talent. Board made a huge mistake pushing executives out. They made some mistakes, yes, but we ditched imperfect but highly talented executives and the result was chaos and destruction. It will take years to rebuild what we had and it can't be done with this CEO. By the way, Indeed reviews for Biogen are very clearly manipulated. Glassdoor reviews seem to be giving an honest assessment of the situation overall.
