Pros

Company Mission - Hunger for None Benefits

Cons

"I am a Scientist" - to the makers of this Brava! However, you should have remembered low-ranking women. A manager has made the work environment unsafe. If you are comfortable at work, you are not developing. You are not staying in your lane if you help the team outside of the job description. If you don't help the team outside your job description, you are not developing. If you are single - "you might consider other options for a pay increase." The manager will on-purpose state that your work is below par at year-end to avoid giving a pay increase. "Reconsider your extravagant life." If you are single and attractive, you will be gossiped about at all levels and sometimes to your face. If you are single - "you have time." If you show any emotion, you will be called "Emotional." Even if men on the team are more animated. If you show no emotion, you have "Attitude." If you ask questions for clarity, you're labeled as "Disruptive" because the topic was already covered. No one needs to hear from any co-worker at work about their sex life. No, I cannot go to HR. They protect the company, not the person. Philosophy: remove the complainer = problem solved.

Pros

Lax dress code. Can wear jeans and TShirt to work in Products Development. Solid, modern tech stack. You have lots of freedom as a developer to use whatever tools you want.

Cons

* Product Development is shifting towards a very negative culture. People advancing in the org (lower level leads) are extremely opinionated and do not accept new ideas or feedback. They are very heavily biased towards their favorite teams and people and treat everyone outside their circle poorly * Culture among developers across-teams is cynical and negative. Developers and teams throw each other under the bus rather than lift them up * Teams are not willing to help each other and instead hide behind aforementioned leads in order to do the least amount of work possible * A culture of team work is no longer present. It's so cut-throat. Makes me sad after working there so long * Compensation lags far behind your skill/achievements and never catches up * Annual cash incentive process is black box and not dispersed according to skill/achievements

Cons

Due to Litigation, the company is always in turmoil. In the last two years, there were massive layoffs. If litigation is not resolved, layoffs will continue
