Professional development - staff learns things 'trial by fire' style and low level staff given too many responsibilities
There is no communication from stores to corporation about what is needed from corp. to succeed
Associates responsible for sales are given "call in" shifts as if this is a new business and they can't predict the needs of the business. Also, they have to call an hour before they would have to come in which is unreasonable.
