Pros

You get a 30% discount and first dibs on new or sale items. You also get a 30% discount at Victoria's Secret because they're sister companies.

Cons

I'm sure it's different in other stores, but a lot of the other employees who had worked there longer were rude to the newer employees. Also, you don't get a lot of hours unless it's the semi-annual sale. If you're looking for a job with a lot of hours don't bother but if you just need something (very) part-time, it's not a bad place to work. One annoying thing is the "call-ins"--you're basically scheduled on certain days as if you're on call but they almost never use you, so you have to plan as if you're going to work.

Not a high pressure environment for sales Friendly employees Rewarded employees at times

Cons

Not given a lot of hours Never given any chance of promotion , there for five years Did not have enough employees at times especially for floor sets, which resulted in staying longer than expected

Pros

Great learning curve with challenges and senior responsibilities given. Great team work in the design team overall. Constantly updating product lines, so as a designer you don't get bored. Work hard and speak up and you'll see the change happening, just be patient. Great network and connections. Good benefits, great orientation and welcoming to company. Higher pay compared to competition especially if you are a manager. Constantly growing company, they hire top talent, so can learn from great people. They educate designers with trend shows, classes etc... If you're willing to work and grow, work hard and may have growth (takes about 5 years to get your first promotion) Great products and Employee discount at all Limited brands stores. Great cross-functional teams.

Cons

I was unfortunate to have a horrible manager (he is not there anymore), however I spoke up and my director supported me (at least I felt that he did). Fast to market, so you need to be fast, hardworking and on top of your game. Need to work over 40 hours almost every week. Risk of getting burnt out because of the fast environment- probably that's why the pay is higher. You need to be dedicated and be flexible, so your work and life balance may suffer. There maybe a risk of over-promising, so make sure promises given is held. There is a communication problem generally in the company (maybe caused by speed to market strategy)
