Pros

PAY COMRADRY- employees help each other and work effortlessly to support their teams BENEFITS INTERNATIONAL EXPOSURE great people with lots of oil and gas business knowledge.

Cons

Poor female performers are kept and promoted based on sexual appeal. Racist hiring, firing, promotional decisions are the norm. Company is moving to affirmative action of hiring more females forcing males out. However white males under 40 are the preferred demographics. If you're male over 40 and non-white, you are SOL.

Pros

Great Pay. Great Benefits (if HR will tell you about them).

Cons

Politics. In the low market prices, those who will survive are favored by their managers instead of their merits and abilities. HUGE Layoffs continue despite the emails stating that they are done. Only those who are in their bosses "circle" will survive. Everyone else will get 3 months severance and a complimentary folder that holds the termination package. There is still a HUGE amount of "make work" taking place where managers are protecting their minions. Those who had the heaviest work loads and gave the largest portion of their lives and didn't have time to stroke their bosses ego shall be released. The constant churn of leadership means that every 6 to 12 months you are dedicating your time to justifying your existence and reading your resume to a new manager. While those who can't perform are left in a position to continue their destruction. HR is absent. They had a mass exit in June and no one knows who's left to support you. Not that you can get a hold of them any how. The cuts continue to focus on the workers instead of the middle and upper managers who compose the highest salaries and tend to have the lowest output. I pray that I am released soon so that I can reduce my blood pressure and actually start sleeping at night. The stress that is put on us now, with the drastically reduced resources, is overwhelming. The best performers have all been let go (guess the company wanted to avoid those merit increases) and now it's those of us who work hard and those who skated by that are given the work load.

Pros

“Benefits - 401K, Shareplus, Gym, Lunch, Vacation Client Groups to work with are awesome”

Cons

“Supervisors / Managers - "mean girls club from high school" if you are not in their click you are going to pay and be punished and be shunned and pushed aside. I have seen a certain "Supervisor" belittle, humiliate, treat unfairly, bully, create a hostile work environment for several great employees (now former after she had them either fired or laid off." She has been the cause of several people being left in tears from a session with her and the list goes on. Even when she has been reported for her ways she is promoted, given more projects, gets to travel international with the company and given more power. You can tell she is working to get rid of people she doesn't like who do such a good job and are liked among their team and clients. But her power in taking them down is greater. Noone has a voice against her and anyone that tries to speak up in our "safe to speak up culture" ends up punished, fired or quits to get away from her. Her peer supervisors and her former manager and current managers see what she is doing and do nothing to speak up and say this is wrong. Meanwhile, she keeps moving ahead while hurting people and ruining their careers along the way. We have no career advancement or additional education under the HR team unless you are one of the "click." I have seen her ensure people on her team are viewed as failures who in truth do an excellent job and she will paint them in a terrible light to management to ensure they are receiving poor reviews and no opportunities for advancement.”
