Pros

Its a good place if you are looking to retire and not change, baby-boomer friendly. Decent benefits. Off the production floor there are good people trying to make a difference and working to steer the company towards a better position in the market. The FDA hasn't shut us down like our competition. The staff is almost to the tipping point were the old are being out numbered by the new.

Cons

483's from the FDA... lots of them. High turn-over in departments that are crucial for driving continuous improvement. Old products that are poorly designed, assembled on equipment that is falling apart by a work force that is over 20% temporary workers that make a little bit more than McDonalds. Leadership that has to higher outside firms to drive change and develop leadership. A strong-willed work force that doesn't care about change. Uneducated lower to middle management. A CEO that pushes political agendas through company emails, vote against this or for that... contact your local rep via this link...

Pros

I can't really think of any pros. It's an environment promoting laziness and lack of accountability. So if you are good at doing the bare minimum and the blame game. it's a good place for management.

Cons

Lack of upward mobility. Management has no good work ethics. Not a safe work place for female employees. Overall, it's not a good company to work for.

Pros

It is a job that pays average.

Cons

This is cry to Mr. Neubauer. Please be in touch with your facilities. Irvine is on a free fall. The management in the plant (established by current COO) is out of control. No body has any clue what they are doing. Every day folks are spinning their wheels. Even though the numbers were some what respectable for 2014, it could have been a lot better. No strategy. No solid marching order. Quarterly updates by PA leadership team is demoralizing. I am sorry this is not a leadership team.
