Pros

Plenty of opportunity to learn and room for mistakes.

Cons

It's not a place to build a career. Dated systems and machinery. C'mon Lotus Notes as an e-mail client!??!?!?! Good luck getting access to systems, your welcome package means finding your own computer, your own desk and figuring out who is supposed to be responsible for what.

Pros

1. Irvine facility has a park with its own pond with turtles, fish, and rabbits. 2. You can put on your resume that you have pharmaceutical, and medical device experience (since the company is technically both). 3. There are many humble people so you'll make good friends and lasting memories here. 4. on-site nurse. 5. 3/4 schedule available, night shift available, and 4/10s schedule available. 6. Bonuses available to everyone, although your percentage will vary. 7. Culture follows standard operating procedure like bibles. 8. three times your hourly wage if you work on a holiday.

Cons

1. If you are the hardest working, you probably will not get promoted. Management cannot afford to fill the void you will leave. Also promotions will go towards others since it's better to "give the baby his/her bottle." 2. While there are a lot of humble people, there are even more that are uncooperative. You will find yourself wondering how Person A ever got hired/promoted to his position now. 3. Political moves from different business units, it is as if we are not on the same team: Competition among each other foster an unfriendly environment. 4. Kick off meetings about what management wants to improve. Within a year, those original meeting attendees have jumped ship. Time to start the same kick off meeting with a new set of people. 5. Lack of communication from management.

Pros

Unfortunately, I can't think of anything good to say.

Cons

The company is run by a group of white males who have been with B. Braun forever. New ideas are summarily rejected.
