      Good opportunities, some financial struggles

      Pros

      Ultra flexible culture, great opportunities to get involved in many areas and build your experience. Pretty good opportunities for career advancement

      Cons

      Company has really turned around its business in the last few years, but still waiting for some of those positive changes to kick in in terms of additional revenue. The company's financial struggles make it difficult to give raises and perks to everyone that deserves them.

      Pros

      Very nice people work there and their technology is impressive when it is honestly evaluated on its technical merits.

      Cons

      Training seemed unrealistic as to the realities of the real world when I first started. There should have been more experienced people teaching classes in order to prepare salespeople for the competitive nature of the marketplace.

      Pros

      The only pro is that some of the staff is great to work with. ONLY SOME!

      Cons

      The senior management of company lies to everyone's face on their " Town Hall Meeting". Avaya needs to get new senior management team in place, stop the blood letting and get back to supporting, customers, and employees. Downsizing is killing the remaining staff!!! Now they are trying to outsource everything, we'll see how well that works! LOL, since we saw how well outsourcing support worked, it didn't. Good luck working for this company.
