      Pros

      The most positive part of working for Avaya is the overall training and experience I gained by being thrown into difficult situations. While Avaya had a vast number of tools for training nothing prepared me for the day to day than being handed a problem.

      Cons

      I worked there for over 5 years and received only one raise. The majority of Avaya is outsourced and the Human Resource department does what is best for the company and does not fight for the employee. Managers have no power to make decisions as everything is handled at higher levels. The Power Of We only applies to executives that don't understand the day to day business.

      Pros

      work was remote, excellent salary, even the opportunity work production would be beneficial to company

      Cons

      Disorganization, new management, no one wants to take ownership of any issues that can not be resolved. While working on tasks it seemed to be more important to get data completed in a short turnaround verses making sure the tasks are done thoroughly and properly in order for end result to be beneficial.

      The people in the product lines and product management. Teams are driven by wanting to lead the market and come up with new and exceiting products

      Cons

      Leadership and finance dont get it. Everything is about the bottom line. Product positioning, product lifecycle and customer preferences are completely ignored to make a buck
