Pros

Flexible work location and time Decent Pay Friendly co-workers Great Learning Environment Not stressful

Cons

Not the most competitive pay. Lots of layoffs and not many hires to replace layoffs. Average age of workforce is getting high - has to do with not hiring many new employees Business mentality is a bit aged/old school corporate style Yearly reviews force each group to be in a bell curve even if everyone is a great worker or everyone is a poor worker in a group. Some will always be marked as Great and some will always be Poor. Too many acquisitions which has lead to too many similar products - this is being worked on to reduce the issue at least. Due to so many products, most employees don't even know what products we make. Training is inconsistent as it is all based off who your direct manager is rather than being some organized training throughout the company or business unit.

Pros

co-workers share the same feelings

Cons

no raises, bonuses, career development, no incentives to want to stay, 401K match taken away, to much turn-around with Senior Management, lots of attrition and no back filling, they want you to work as much as possible with just a pat on the back, and don't even think of taking any time off around the holidays off! Thanksgiving, Christmas, New years...etc...
