Good benefits. Most of the folks that are left are smart and hard working.

Cons

Not much room for advancement makes it demotivating over the long haul but fine for a short stint....

Avaya is a good place to start your career

Pros

Avaya provides good trainings, if self motivated, one can learn a lot here. The working environment is nice, most managers are nice, compensation is reasonable.

Cons

Politics at high level is strong but it doesn't impact engineers much. Also it provides a perfect place to learn company politics.

Good benefits although some of those have gone away lately. Dynamic -- ever changing environment almost to the point of chaos.

Cons

Siloed business units. Territorial management. Management by fear. 401k matching gone, forced 2 week furlough. Laying off key personnel with years of knowledge due to lack of management vision.
