      Change and tension, but also opportunity

      Pros

      New senior leadership from Cisco, Motorola, IBM, etc. has been aggressively driving change and starting to get a bit of traction. If you can make it through the internal transition and pending Nortel Acquisition there may be many growth opportunities on the other side. New leadership is smart, aggressive, and capable of making things happen quickly

      Cons

      Very tense work environment. New leadership, strategic changes, and Nortel acquisition have introduced a lot of uncertainty that seems to put people on edge. Benefits are not very exciting and this year saw a no-bonus policy and 2 weeks of furlough - although that will hopefully not continue next year

      1. Freedom of decisions to the employees. 2. Very good exposure to technology. 3. Good work and life balance. 4. Good compensation. 5. Provides good career growth.

      Cons

      1. Too slow in terms of execution. 2. Working in silos. 3. Co-ordination between various business functions is lack luster. 4. Managers are not dynamic and have a bureaucratic approach.

      Great potential with Aura and new startegy

      Lots of customers with constant feedback on products and services Great new architecture and product startegies Great research group that is developing relenat work; need to move it to products

      Cons

      Challenge is moving more resoruces to work on new products and architecture and stopping work on old products Resources moved too quickly to low cost geography. Should do more development in NA Some of senior product leadership recently hired does not have good background in UC / CC products
