Pros

Clean warehouse, large break room with lots of microwaves no waiting, free coffee, tea hot chocolate, feel safe and co workers are nice. Monthly meeting with both shift together to go over improvements, numbers, new projects, birthdays and anniversary's. Just started recognizing employees of the month. The Recruiter is pretty nice, when I had friends looking for a job she gets to them pretty quick or gives me information on openings. You get hired on through her and she is quick to reply to you either email or phone even after hours. GM is very friendly, easy to talk too and is in the warehouse a lot and not behind a desk.

Cons

Management team can be a little harsh on new employee, hence we have so much turnover, pay is very very low for our area. If the job was not so close to my home I would have left a long time ago. HR is a joke and treats you like a 3rd class citizen. It takes days or in some cases weeks for her to get back to you. I would rather spend my lunch on hold for 20 minutes than to work with HR about benefits, or even a problem on the floor. Parking lot is getting smaller as we have another location moving to this site, so make sure you have an umbrella and good shoes to walk in!

It also sounds like you're looking for a mentor, but have a good deal of experience yourself!
