Pros

The work is enjoyable. Good, close knit team atmosphere.

Cons

17.5 hours a week on minimum wage is unliveable, particularly factoring in transport costs. Management do this so they do not have to offer paid leave or mandatory pension. Most people I worked with struggled to pay their rent or mortgage and the opportunity to get a second job was not available to most as shifts were irregular and unpredictable. It also turned out that the company had been under paying employees for their paid breaks.

Pros

Decent place to work, only if you got the right people you working with

Cons

horrible rude colleagues. colleagues eating drinking, talking to other co workers avoiding customers. management not rewarding staff that are selling fairly or hitting targets, management picking their favourite staff and rewarding them for every little Argos cards or product care sold. staff miss selling not explaining how argos card or product care works just so they can hit targets. management does not take things seriously when you raise the issue, unfair hours given, they will give more hours to favoured who they like personally. management will turn blind eye to people who are messing about and not doing work properly because management does it them self eat drink talk and expect you to do more. i think management are scared of telling staff off. some colleagues have more contract hours than you. when you go to manager to raise the contract hours they will make excuses why they cant give it to you. i don't know how other stores work but the store i work in is horrible.

Pros

Can't think of any, other than it's a job.

Cons

Rubbish pay for unsociable hours - work nights but receive the same pay as those who work during the day. Management haven't got a clue - claim to listen to feedback, but it's quite clear they don't. ALWAYS think their way is the best way. Try working in a warehouse for a night, instead of looking at statistics on a piece of a paper! No benefits - Unless you work at the counter. Warehouse staff are forgotten about, never praised for the work they do. Quality control - Give it a rest! It's a warehouse, not a storefront!

Hey, Sorry to hear you're not having a great time of it. If you're still with us, I'd suggest raising with your manager. All I can say is; as a member of the Fast Track team, you are valued across the organisation.
