Very cyclical business. When business is bad, there are big job cuts, bonuses are cut and so forth. It can be tough for promotions without moving to other teams or businesses.

Very difficult to progress your career. There are some people in leadership that don’t belong there. The Senior VP of product is a horrible example of a leader. Shes cut-throat. She’s so determined to rise to the top she’ll get rid of anyone she feels is a threat to that. Countless smart, independent and truly talented women have either been pushed out or let go by her because she doesn’t like anyone that questions her direction or is a threat to her success. If Anywhere wants to have successful products they need to get rid of the current senior VP and put an actual leader in her place. She favors her “friends” that are employees by the company and makes sure they are safe from any reorganization or business changes. A true politician.
