      Pros

      Benefit package is okay. Brokers and agents are for the most part incredible people to work with.

      Cons

      Don't believe anything said by executives about how they want to advance you in your career. Have no respect for employees' feelings or recognize your contributions. HR is there for the company and not employees.

      Overwhelming Work Load for Little Pay

      Pros

      Many opportunities to learn new skills. Decent benefits. Paid Holidays. Office culture can be great if there is a present Broker in Charge and the agents are appreciative of the SSA's efforts.

      Cons

      Corporate leadership expects this role to do the job of 4 people without any extra incentives. Zero flexibility in schedule or remote work. Remote management tends to micromanage this role without realizing the amount of duties this role is responsible for. The hierarchy of management is very confusing. Sometimes SSA's report to their in-office manager, sometimes to remote management. It seems to change. No room for growth as an administrator.
