      Pros

      Lots of cool applications and technology, some stakeholders who understand the drive and need for Cyber Security services.

      Cons

      Company is not mature enough for a penetration testing function. its un regulated and requires resources to be pre-booked well in advance and usage needs to be allocated with businesses that are not required to to perform penetration testing,

      Road to nowhere?

      Pros

      Generally very pleasant people, and some highly talented people. ESG agenda is ethical and genuine. Emphasis on kindness, which is real in most cases, but in others its clearly fake.

      Cons

      Despite almost constant transformation over the past few years, its not widely felt that there is a strong 'stand alone' future for Anglo. In the most recent round of redundancies (which won't be the last) some very odd appointments were made based on what is viewed as favouritism over merit or expertise. Leadership and communication could be much stronger. If 3 days min per week office attendance is mandatory, make sure leaders set the example and 'walk the walk'. They took their new roles on that basis, so don't make it one rule for leaders and another for the rest. They need to be present to improve morale.

      Going through restructure which has challenges and opportunities at the same time

      Pros

      Anglo American are thinking ahead to how to restructure and invest in the future. With this have come opportunities to bring new and innovative ideas. Work with many friendly, open-minded and smart people.

      Cons

      A lot of uncertainty during the restructure. Though with this has come a chance to revisit career opportunities.
