Pros

No pros when one can tell after seeing a coworker's recent negative review, there are more positive reviews being posted to balance the negative rating. no good and shows transparency is nonexistent.

Cons

Trying to hide negative reviews with more positive reviews. Not as honest as they seem Management should listen to interns and staff. They seem to have their own style. Cliquey. Arrogant people to work with. They're only nice at first, and then they micromanage you. Interns get hired whether or not they're qualified. Where's the free food during busy season? Every office has a different culture, not a pro when you want to move to other offices. Switching office locations is not easy like they say it is.

Pros

Casual attire for an accounting firm Great if you are an Excel whiz Located in the Financial District of Boston

Cons

Terrible hours! In non-tax season, you're still expected to put in almost 10 hours a day. When you tack the commute on, you end up having 12 hour days for not nearly enough pay. Expected to work Saturdays with no exception and cannot ever leave work early Misrepresented the Associate position, which meant that as an Economics major I felt completely overwhelmed. If you are not an Accounting major and do not plan on becoming a CPA, find a different company because Andersen will do its best to make you feel as unwelcome as possible. Billing hours capped so it feels like you basically slave away for very little pay. NO work/life balance

Pros

Decent experience for resume. Good clients. That's it.

Cons

Expected to work around the clock for very little pay. Over expansion has greatly reduced their ability to remain competitive with salaries and bonuses (bonuses were almost nonexistent for anyone below management. Extreme favoritism shown by many partners (not all, but too many). If you start your career here, do a year or two and move on. The managers and above were on the average some of the most unhappy (and unhealthy) people I have seen in a workplace. Life's too short and sweet to waste away at this place.
