Pros

Alorica is filled with people who care about the company at all levels and especially at some of the lowest levels where money/good pay is not buying their loyalty. Great first job with opportunities to get promoted quicker than many places. CEO is committed to positive change and progression.

Cons

Sometimes potential new business deals outweigh sound business judgment leading to poor decisions that are not fully communicated to the clients and they impact future company performance. ie... over promising, painting a rosy picture to the client when the facts say different. ie.. overselling a product or skill the company doesn't really have success with or over committing to a staffing level a market may not support. Director and above benefits are competitively priced and subsidized but they are not subsidized at the same rate for lower level employees and therefore cost prohibitive and in many cases unavailable at the same comparable coverage to those levels even if they want to pay. Some very talented people in team manager, manager, support roles, etc who are not paid at the market rate and without an annual performance review they are stuck at those pay rates for years. The low pay also enables less talented people to get promoted as a norm into these positions which holds back their team's performance. Create an annual review process with potential raises for good performance.

Pros

Work with wonderful people that are all hard workers......

Cons

I have have been at this company 21 years, it was previously West Corporation we had wonderful insurance benefits, we had a marketplace to choose from. We had paid holidays. We had wonderful pto and we had great tenure incentives. When Alorica took over we have seen NOTHING good come from them. They have more or less taken everything from us except the shirts on our backs. We are offered one insurance provider and it is way more expensive than it was with West. They decided to take away all staff benefits so that means they rolled out a new pto policy which we accrue pto, we used to get our bank of 168 hours all at once on our anniversary, so everyone that had pto issued on their anniversary date all but 80 hours was taken away from them, and anyone that was expecting to get their bank this year will be set at 0 as of Jan. 1 and we can only earn 4 hours of pto every payday, which comes out to maybe 120 hours for the years, so we will lose 48 hours we use to get with west. they had given us sick days and flex days but decided to take those away too, some people had already submitted to take them and were approved and then they decided to take them away and did not honor if people had taken them already before the announcement and were not paid for them. With West we used to get a great tenure incentives, we used to get a portfolio every 5 years with a certificate and prize options to choose from and every 5 years the gift would get bigger and bigger. I missed mine by a few weeks when Alorica took over so did not get my 20 years tenure gift. I have worked my butt of to get where I am today and they have just come and ripped it all away, I feel like I have started a job right out of high school, with cheap benefits with a high cost, no paid holidays and very little pto. 4 hours every pay day really? that is ridiculous. I had high hopes when alorica took over but they were all shattered really quick. Not to mention all their ways of doing things, it is like we have gone back in time with all of their systems. I wish I was still with West.....

Low pay

Pros

Quick process to start working.

Cons

Pay is low compared to other call centers in area, only $10.50 / hour. The trainers talked down to us as though we were kindergartners. The training was frustrating due to computer programs not working correctly. There are a lot of "you cannot" do this or that, very restrictive.
