Pros

Always looking for people to fill position. Jobs are available and hired quick to fill a spot. Fast training to get you out of the office and on the job site.

Cons

Constant changeover of employees at job site. No longevity. Not a career position. No sick time. No vacation. When training at the job site you are paid at minimum wage and not the rate if you worked the position. If you need to call in sick you have to be dead. Literally happened. Electronic employee handbook. Not easy to find. If you need to take time off for family you cannot take leave of absence with a month and half notice. You basically have to quit. You are replaceable. No chance for advancement. Was an Armed/Unarmed Security Officer for another company in another state. When told management I would like to earn Armed Security officer license for company was told it wont earn you more money than what the pay rate for the location I was assigned. However, waiting in employee lobby of new hires constantly see other handlers to other employees, "here call this guy he will help you get your level III." No positive reinforcement. Willing to write you up to protect contract of job site.

Pros

40 hours a week, constant schedule and lots of overtime when wanted. Plus I got unlimited uniforms(jackets, hats, visor, rain jacket). Also got 4 days of training.

Cons

Relieving guards not showing up, HR messing up on my paychecks and Supervisor was never on site. I would recommend getting Sup main number.

Pros

With the amount of turnover, there is almost always opportunities for overtime. They have 4 options for health insurance which is actually pretty good.

Cons

The company literally does not care about individual employees. Best pray you get assigned to a site where either the client wants as little turnover as possible so keeping officer's happy is a priority or an operations manager who views officers as something more than just a required number to fill needed posts. The only chance to increase your salary is to get to a more prestigious site or become a site supervisor. If your operations manager is unprepared for his/her job or worse doesn't care then your paychecks can easily become random and your vacation time will just disappear.
