Pros

Pay, management, sites given, courses on Edge that are given to officers to learn about the basics of the job.

Cons

Not being able to carry a weapon. - only for the fact that I have a CCW, and I feel it would be necessary to carry a weapon in the case of an emergency. As a trained professional, I feel like we officers could save lives if it came down to an incident like Orlando or San Bernardino.

Cons

Management barely knows what they are doing Benefits not that great (depending what site you are placed at) Turn-over rate is high No opportunities of advancement unless you get lucky or favored by upper management
