Pros

Having a job, Company equipment normally is trendy and up to date (at least at my account)

Cons

Managers cater to workers who preferably speak Spanish. I later learned Spanish while working at the company. The managers make friendships with workers in order to get the inside scoop on people they want to fire, and will set up workers if they really want them gone. The company policies and constantly changing, and not updated for workers to keep up with them. They also overwork employees and try to silence anyone who speaks up for a raise. Highly trained, educated, seasoned workers, or anyone else with maturity often have to work with immature adults who lie and do the bidding of managers for special benefits "extra time on lunch break, shift changes, etc." Working for this company is like watching a Game of Thrones episode. They talk the talk during orientation and during interviews... but you know nothing John Snow. Oh, if you report any of the managers to HR best believe the managers will know. DON'T BELIEVE LIES ABOUT CONFIDENTIALITY. HR will call your manager about whatever is reported to them.

Pros

•It's the easiest job you'll ever work. Most of the sites only require you to keep an eye on the property and make sure nothing catches on fire or is stolen. And even if something was to go wrong, you cannot do anything besides call the police. •If you patrol, it may help you lose weight. •Working for them allows you to get your foot in the door with their client companies (who will pay you more). •If your site requires clerical work, the work can be fullfilling.

Cons

•Paychecks are usually incorrect. •Inattentive management. The only time anyone at our site hears from a superior is when they're writing someone up. If the client company complains about you, even if the complaint is unfounded, your managers will worry more about pleasing the client than defending you. •You will constantly be called in for overtime because we're always understaffed. •High turnover rate. •The job may be easy, but it is so very unfulfilling. Your mind is a tool, use it or lose it. •If your post doesn't not have patrols, you may gain weight. •You will be underpaid. No matter what duties your site may require, you will receive the same pay rate as a patrol officer. •No chance for advancement.

Pros

You will always have shifts to work and if you are a union member then even better for you. They have benefits which is good and they have lots of buildings you can easily cover shifts

Cons

The management should be more considerate on their workers . The account managers try as much as they can to avoid you taking vactions. They will prefer you overwork yourself and they pay you the money. They will do everything possible to avoid you having overtime especially as a full time worker. This makes them to deny people vacation time because they try not to pay overtime to cover for vacation.
