Pros
•It's the easiest job you'll ever work. Most of the sites only require you to keep an eye on the property and make sure nothing catches on fire or is stolen. And even if something was to go wrong, you cannot do anything besides call the police. •If you patrol, it may help you lose weight. •Working for them allows you to get your foot in the door with their client companies (who will pay you more). •If your site requires clerical work, the work can be fullfilling.
Cons
•Paychecks are usually incorrect. •Inattentive management. The only time anyone at our site hears from a superior is when they're writing someone up. If the client company complains about you, even if the complaint is unfounded, your managers will worry more about pleasing the client than defending you. •You will constantly be called in for overtime because we're always understaffed. •High turnover rate. •The job may be easy, but it is so very unfulfilling. Your mind is a tool, use it or lose it. •If your post doesn't not have patrols, you may gain weight. •You will be underpaid. No matter what duties your site may require, you will receive the same pay rate as a patrol officer. •No chance for advancement.
