      International, many opportunities to travel

      Cons

      Promotions do not follow the HR processes (given to friends, not based on qualifications), difficult to move up if your nationality is not from the 4 founding countries. Very hierarchical, little delegation/empowerment.

      Beware of sickness and vetting process

      Pros

      Big company with many opportunities to move roles and again experience. Training and development widely available. Good for a couple of years to gain experience.

      Cons

      Strict sickness policy in UK. Three times and you will be on notice. A number of people with long term health issues get fired. Detailed vetting process done when joining and every five years. Including list of addresses, finance details etc. Pay varies. Frequent travel to see different offices. Few opportunities to get promoted as there are only a couple of technical grades.
