      Very low salary. I am a native english speaker with 2 years experience. However acadsoc signed me up as a non native teacher to pay me the fee of a non native. very disappointing.

      You can choose your schedule.

      Cons

      The penalties are way too high. In the new system, only booked slots are paid. (40-50php per 25min. class). They would ask for back up internet and electricity in case of blackout which is understandable, but with this salary, you can't even pay the internet bill.

      Flexible schedule, work from home, mediocre salary

      Cons

      Huge penalties, constantly introducing new rules/changes that hurt the tutors, booking depends on the relationship with your TM, your schedule is constantly locked to make it impossible to earn bonuses, you are forced to do trial lessons, constant hiring of new tutors which reduces the booking rate, TMs lie and steal from you while pretending to be friendly, the list goes on and on...
