Pros
It is a great contribution indeed to be an Online educator for English to Asian students and Professionals. Their fervent desire to express themselves in a foreign language like English is overwhelming. These students are dedicated to attend their reserved session despite a busy schedule both from school and work. Their ultimate goal is to speak GOOD ENGLISH! They never complain but instead would just laugh at the ENGLISH words they could hardly pronounce or say. Nothing indeed can beat these people in terms of determination either for professional growth or self-improvement. KUDOS....to my students. I have realized therefore how lucky I am that I can speak English well, that it is regarded as one of the core subjects. I have learned to speak English since I was a child and historically the Americans were the first teachers of the Filipinos and our educational system was greatly influenced by the American educational system. To be an online ESL tutor is a great experience in enriching one's culture, gaining friends, and honing conversational skills.
Cons
Although the work is very enriching and exciting the efforts or hard work of being an Online ESL educator the payment is not commensurate and not fully compensated based from the educational qualifications.
