The staff in the customer service are not really proficient in English so there will be misunderstandings from time to time.
They keep hiring teachers which is not really necessary.
Your Direct Supervisor will force you to take a training even if you don't want to.
The salary is sometimes delayed.
If you are from the Philippines, you can't tell the students you are from the Philippines.
They want you to tell your students that you are from America.
In order to increase your salary, you have to get 750 points while teaching. I'll explain how you earn the points. For every class you complete, you earn 0.2 points, for every good feedback from the student, you earn 1 point. That's how hard you earn a point. A student who gives a positive feedback is very rare, I tell you. Don't get your hopes up. So, if you work for 8 hours a day, you just earn 3.8 points. AND YOU HAVE TO GET 750 POINTS TO INCREASE YOUR SALARY!
THE SALARY IS NOT DISTRIBUTED FAIRLY. The moment I figured out there are some teachers who earn 110/hour, I realized it's non sense to work this hard and be treated this very unfairly.
DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME IN THIS COMPANY! GO FIND YOURSELF SOME OTHER DIGNIFIED ONLINE TEACHING COMPANIES.
