      I have worked at two different locations of Academy each other was a nightmare. The first location i worked at. I was written up for racism (which never happened). When handed the write up i was told if i didn't admit to it i would be fired. which i laughed off and never signed anything. The second location has disrespected me from day one of working there. It was a new store and i put everything in team sports basically on the isles. Yet i am treated like i am an idiot. This store has us team sports associates work until 2 am or later sometimes and they expect us to come in early the next day for our shift. Which they could careless if i have to be up for school everyday at 6 am to make it to a class at 8 downtown. The team leads are jokes and most of them are clueless to what is going on. I have been with Academy for a while now and normal person would think i would be paid more than a new hire. Well that is not true. Pay is based on how much choose to brown nose and not on how good you are at your job.
